Do you have a map of the festival?

Yes, please view our location page for a map of the area and the festival grounds layout.

Is there a difference between a ticket and a wristband?

Your wristband is your ticket into the festival! Once you order a Gretna Festival ticket from our website, you will receive your wristbands in the mail based on the shipping address you provide us. Please register your wristband via the QR code on your mailer as that activates your access into the festival.

If you order tickets past September 28th, you must pick up your wristbands at our Will Call Welcome Center (1035 Huey P. Long Ave). Your order confirmation email will include a barcode. This is not your ticket, but must be provided at Will Call for your wristband exchange. After October 5th, our Will Call Welcome Center will move to the festival grounds at 5th and Huey P. Long Ave.

What does “registering” my wristband do and how do I do it?

Registering your wristband attaches your name, email and payment information (for food/drink on site) to your account. This allows us to verify your purchase, fix any issues you might have on site and replace your wristband if it gets lost or damaged. In order to register your wristband, locate the QR code on the mailer your wristbands arrived in. Use your camera on your phone and click the link that pops up on your screen and follow the directions from there.

While it is not required for you to connect payment to your account, you must register your wristband in order to gain access to the festival.

How do I pay for food and drink at the festival?

Our food and drink vendors do not accept cash at the festival.

Your wristband to the festival can be connected directly to your credit card during the wristband registration process. When you pay, you simply ‘scan’ your wristband on the reader and it will charge your card directly. This helps speed up lines significantly.

Cashless payments will also be accepted at this year’s festival including Apple Pay and all major credit cards.

What if I don’t have a credit card to link?

You can bring cash and visit our “top up” stations at the customer service booths within the festival. This amount will be “loaded” onto your wristband and any purchase will be debited from it.

Do I get a refund of any unused spends?

Your wristband is linked directly to your credit card, meaning you are only charged for what you spend. No refunds are needed.

If you don’t have a card and need to ‘top up’ via cash, no refunds will be given after the festival, so be sure to use the full amount you’ve put on the wristband.

Where is “will call” for wristband pickup?

Will call is at our Welcome Center located at 1035 Huey P. Long Ave. After October 5th, our Will Call Welcome Center will move to the festival grounds at 5th and Huey P. Long Ave.

If you ordered after the shipping cutoff date, then your order confirmation will have a PDF with a barcode on it. This is not your ticket into the event. It must be exchanged for wristbands at our Welcome Center or onsite box office locations on the days of the festival.

How do I replace lost or damaged wristbands?

I bought or received my wristbands, but I lost them / put them on too tight / had to remove them / damaged them. How do I get new ones?

We know you’re excited, but do not put on your festival wristband until you are ready to attend Gretna Fest 2023! When you are heading to the festival, please tighten them to one finger’s width from your wrist and no tighter.

If you need a replacement wristband please visit any box office location during the festival or the Gretna Welcome Center before entering the event. A replacement wristband fee of $5 will apply.
