It’s not just a city, it’s a lifestyle.
Welcome to Gretna, Louisiana!
With roots tracing back to 1913, our city stands as a testament to the resiliency and hard work of our residents. Nestled on the west bank of the Mississippi River, the city has grown from its days as a small village to being a major hub for river commerce and trade. Through our growth, a few things have remained as constants – our residents’ love for music, food, and culture. Gretna Fest is a celebration of that love and our chance to welcome our friends and family from across the parish, state, and country to Old Gretna for a drink and a good time!
