What are the festival dates & times?

Gretna Fest 2025 is happening October 3, 4 and 5. The festival times are 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm on Friday, 11:00 am – 10:00 pm on Saturday, and 11:00 am – 8:00 pm on Sunday.

Where is the Festival?

Do I need to buy a ticket for my child?

Kids ages 12 and under get in free for general admission. VIP access (Friends of the Fest and River Club Suites) require a wristband for children 5 years and older.

What CAN I bring in to the festival?

Things you can (and should) bring:

  • Blankets
  • Chairs
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses, hats, fanny packs
  • Strollers (no wagons)
  • Personal cameras (no detachable zoom lens or flash)
  • A poncho
  • Bags and backpacks that are 17in x 12in x 10in or smaller

What you CAN NOT bring in to the festival?

Please do not bring:

  • Outside food and beverages
  • Pets or animals
  • Glass Bottles or Containers
  • Coolers or Bags Larger than 17in x 12in x 10in
  • Large Umbrellas
  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters
  • Wagons
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Explosives, fireworks, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
    (because we know that prescription for “glaucoma” is bogus)
  • Unauthorized video, camera, or audio recording equipment
  • Selling of merchandise or unauthorized/unlicensed vending
  • Unauthorized solicitations, handbills, stickers, sampling, give-a-ways, etc.

What if it rains?

Gretna Fest is a rain or shine event, so please plan accordingly. Our weather is often unpredictable so check the weather before heading out to the festival.

In the event that dangerous conditions occur on site, we may change our schedule or even have to cancel. In those cases, we will notify all ticket buyers via email and on our social media channels.

Are service animals allowed in the festival?

Owners must present proper certification for service animals before entering the festival.

What happens if someone acts inappropriately?

Gretna Fest is a family-friendly event and all attendees are expected to conduct themselves appropriately. The festival reserves the right to remove any individuals for improper conduct.

Who do I contact for ticket complaints?

If I leave the event, can I re-enter at a later time?

A stamp must be obtained at the gate for re-entry. Each day of the festival will have its own unique stamp.

How do digital tickets work for Gretna Fest 2025?

This year, Gretna Fest is switching to a digital ticket as form of entry. At the time of purchase, you will receive an email with your digital ticket. Please add this to your smartphone’s digital wallet. Daily tickets can only be scanned once at entry. 3-Day Weekend tickets can be scanned once per day at entry.

If you purchased Friends of the Fest passes, wristbands can be picked up at the Friends of the Fest entrance tent.

How do I pay for food and drink at the festival?

This year, vendors are using their own Point of Sale (POS) system. Most vendors will accept major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, etc.) and some will accept payment apps (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, etc.)

I received a VIP Wristband. How do I replace it if lost or damaged?

I bought or received my wristbands, but I lost them / put them on too tight / had to remove them / damaged them. How do I get new ones?

We know you’re excited, but do not put on your festival wristband until you are ready to attend Gretna Fest 2025! When you are heading to the festival, please tighten them to one finger’s width from your wrist and no tighter.

If you need a replacement wristband please visit any box office location during the festival or the Gretna Welcome Center before entering the event. A replacement wristband fee of $5 will apply.
